These Terms of Service govern your use of Akus, operated by AKUS Digital (ABN registered, Wollongong NSW, Australia). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Akus is an AI-powered marketing platform for Australian local businesses and Shopify stores. We provide tools to generate websites, social media posts, emails, blog posts, Google Business Profile content, ad copy, and other marketing materials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be 18 or older to use Akus. One account per business — you may not resell or share your account.
You retain ownership of all content you create using Akus. The business information, photos, and logos you upload remain yours. AI-generated content produced using your business information is yours to use however you like — publish it, edit it, share it.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content in order to provide the service.

Content generated by Akus is created by AI and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing or sending it. We are not liable for any consequences arising from content you publish without reviewing it first.
Websites built through Akus are hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. We make reasonable efforts to keep your website online but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. You can connect your own domain at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your hosted website may be taken offline.
We aim to keep Akus available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will try to give notice of planned downtime where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AKUS Digital's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or lost customers.
You can cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we will provide 30 days to export your data before deletion.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of Akus after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
